For Peanut and Destin.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.” -2 Corinthians 1:3-5

Halle Kerr walked through her first pregnancy and miscarriage, losing their baby Peanut, in January 2024. A budding embroidery artist, she enjoyed making custom gifts for those she felt she needed the extra love. In March 2024, Halle created Sewing The Love after praying for the Lord to bring her a sense of purpose as she grieved Peanut. The sweatshirts are hand-embroidered and fullly custom to allow the individual to have an intentional gift that brings extra comfort as they grieve too. In August 2024, the couple walked through their second miscarriage, their baby Destin. The project is all about honoring their angel babies, spreading awareness, and validating those walking through the unique grief of pregnancy loss. Halle shares her journey on social media and strives to encourage other women walking through loss that not only does she see their grief, but so does Jesus. He grieves with us!

In June 2024, Halle hosted her first embroidery workshop where it was a full house of people just as passionate about the cause. Every other month, a workshop is hosted to spread awareness and gain support for the project.
