For Peanut and Destin.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.” -2 Corinthians 1:3-5

Halle Kerr is a hand-embroidery artist who uses her craft to share the love of Jesus and uplift others. After experiencing the heartbreaking loss of her first two babies, Peanut and Destin, to miscarriage, she felt compelled to help other women feel seen and supported in their own grief. This led to the creation of Sewing The Love, a project that has received nearly 70 requests and sent sweatshirts to over 25 states, offering comfort and connection to those navigating pregnancy loss.

In addition to creating and sending these heartfelt pieces, Sewing The Love also hosts embroidery workshops, where participants can learn the craft while directly supporting the project. Halle leads these classes, sharing her personal journey of experiencing God’s comfort during her losses and spreading awareness on how to support others walking through similar grief.
